What Inspires Me as an Artist

Inspiration can come from absolutely anywhere, but for me, nature is one of my greatest muses. Birds, trees, flowers, water, clouds—there’s an endless flow of beauty in the world around us. I’m especially drawn to the way light interacts with these elements. Color and light are huge sources of inspiration for me, whether it’s sunlight catching on an old building, glowing through clouds, or reflecting in eyes and hair.
Movement is another spark for my creativity. When I see a powerful photograph of an animal in motion, something in me immediately wants to capture that energy on paper. The challenge of illustrating motion—fur shifting, wings beating, muscles stretching—pushes me to grow as an artist.
Ultimately, it’s these small, vivid moments of life and light that inspire me most. They remind me to slow down, look closely, and translate that sense of wonder into my work.
What inspires you?
